1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Legalish (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Not legal advice
Legalish is not a law firm, does not employ lawyers acting on your behalf, and does not provide legal advice or representation. Analysis generated by the Service is produced by an AI model and is intended for general informational and educational purposes only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or fail to identify issues relevant to your situation. You should not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, and Legalish is not responsible for decisions made based on the Service's output.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid subscription or one-time document purchase, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel or manage billing at any time from your account's billing page; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to upload documents you do not have the right to share, use the Service to violate any law, attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of any documents you upload. You grant Legalish a limited license to process that content solely to provide the analysis you requested. You can delete a document at any time from your dashboard, which removes it and its associated analysis from our systems.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legalish will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from decisions made in reliance on the Service's output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
